But sometimes it just doesn’t play out quite that way. Sometimes we’re so busy living life that we don’t have a lot of time to do all the things that we want to. We are after all parents. And we work hard and a lot. And we have places to go and things to do. And … well, you get the point I think.
I’m learning, however, that you make time for what is truly important in life. And even though I’m a mom, I’m also a wife. In fact, I’m a wife first. There are times when I forget to act that way though. After all, he’s an adult. He understands. Right?
But God convicted me about those thought lines a while ago and I’ve been trying to be intentional ever since. My husband, after God alone, is my first priority. When I walk with this revelation, I am walking in order and obedience. And BLESSING ALWAYS FOLLOWS OBEDIENCE. God is a God of order and He calls us to that order for our protection, our fullness, and to bless us.
