Every married woman has a lot on her plate; being a good wife takes a lot of effort. It takes time, thoughtfulness, love, selflessness, and cooperation.
Sometimes it’s easy to put your marriage on autopilot while you handle the urgent things: changing diapers, going grocery shopping, and making sure you don’t leave any kids behind at Walmart when you run out for coffee.
In fact, if you weren’t careful, I bet you could go a week without even kissing your husband. Too many couples end up more like roommates than a man and a woman madly in love with each other.
That’s why dating your husband is so important!
Love is a choice. But it’s also a feeling.
Sometimes the warm fuzzies fade and you’re left in a life that is hard and frustrating and seems determined to attack the love the two of you feel.
But that’s not good.
Did you know that God wants you to keep your marriage sizzling? It’s true…just read the Song of Solomon!
In His infinite wisdom, He wants to help the two of you stay united together in a world that doesn’t value marriage the way He does, keeping those feeling fresh and focused is one way to do that.
It helps you focus on each other and on your marriage; it’s undivided time and attention directed toward one another and not on the stresses of life. And it’s so much more than that, too!
