“Behold, God is my salvation;
    I will trust, and will not be afraid;
for the Lord God is my strength and my song,
    and he has become my salvation.”
With
joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.

~Isaiah 12:2-3, ESV

When was the last time you remembered how joyful it was the day that you found Jesus?

In Psalm 51:12, David actually prayed for God to restore the joy of his salvation to him.

We are meant to enjoy being saved and delight in our salvation. Do you? What does that look like?

restore unto me the joy of my salvation; Let God restore the joy of your salvation today

The Joy of Your Salvation Should Be Alive & Well

Then my soul will rejoice in the Lordexulting in his salvation.
~Psalm 35:9

In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials.
~1 Peter 1:6

And the ransomed of the Lord shall return
    and come to Zion with singing;
everlasting joy shall be upon their heads;
    they shall obtain gladness and joy,
    and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
~Isaiah 51:11

If being a Christian has become “same old same old” you should totally pray like David did and ask God to restore that joy to you.

The joy of knowing you are loved and wanted and that you are no longer a slave to you sin should be as alive in you today as it was the day you met Jesus.

One of the saddest things in our walk with God is when we take Him for granted. Don’t do that, my friend!
